We started Cost Plus Games because we were tired of seeing gamers pay sky-high prices for simple accessories. As passionate players ourselves, we knew there had to be a better way. Inspired by cost-plus models in other industries, we set out to bring transparency and fairness to the TCG world in Australia.

In early 2025, we began our mission by searching for the best materials and suppliers to create top-quality TCG accessories. We tested countless samples and carefully vetted partners to ensure every product would meet our standards — gear we'd be proud to use ourselves.
Getting Tech Ready
Launching our website
After months of behind the scenes work, we launched our website with our first collection of products available for purchase. Features include clear pricing, transparent stock levels and high quality product photos.
Bringing Transparent Pricing to the Community
Official Launch at Pixel Expo
On 13 September 2025, we officially launched Cost Plus Games at Pixel Expo, proudly introducing our transparent pricing model and first product range. This milestone marked the start of our mission to help players across Australia play more and pay less.
The event was amazing and we met so many amazing people. We gathered very valuable feedback on our products and brand.
In the picture you can also see our official FIRST EVER SALE as Cost Plus Games. The lovely couple came over while we were running behind on our setup and still purchased some purple matte sleeves and 2 black card binders!
Our 2nd IRL Expo
Hosted a booth at TreaureCon
For the weekend of 22-23 November 2025, we had a booth setup at TreasureCon.
We had a blast meeting all the vendors and card collectors and players of various TCGs.
We gained amazing feedback on what collectors want in products vs what players want in products.
We sold out of ALL binders which was surprising but we have more on the way!
